Appleview Orchards Inc. is a new farming operation established in April 2021, located only 15 minutes from Downtown Moncton. Our first planting was a 25-acre, high-density apple orchard established that same year. In addition to the orchard, we operate year-round greenhouses where we grow, pack, and supply fresh herbs and leafy greens to nearby grocery stores under the Mountain View Growers brand. We also occasionally produce field-grown strawberries and vegetables.

Apple Varieties
Our main apple varieties are Honeycrisp and Ambrosia. We also grow smaller quantities of Ginger Gold, Gravenstein, Pioneer Mac, and Empire. These varieties may be available pre-packed for sale at the U-Pick retail store.

U-Pick Operations
Our U-Pick orchard is open to the public from mid-September to the end of October. We are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weather permitting. We offer varieties such as Honeycrisp and Ambrosia and some Ginger Gold (Until supplies last) for the apple U-Pick season.

During the fall U-Pick season, guests can enjoy the free tractor rides.
Baked goods, greenhouse-grown produce, and fall chrysanthemums grown on site are available for purchase at the U-Pick Shed. We continue to add new items and seasonal offerings to our U-Pick Market.

Cider on Wheels
In fall 2026, we are launching Cider on Wheels, a unique U-Press apple cider experience. Customers will be able to purchase our second-quality apples and press their own cider right at the orchard. We will also sell sparkling apple juice and hot cider made on site.

Post-Harvest Sales
After the crop is harvested, we store, pack, and supply apples to Real Atlantic Superstore locations through the Local Program. We deliver to the Atlantic Superstores in Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Sussex, Rothesay, Saint John, Fredericton, Oromocto, and Amherst.

Brown Apple Box and Holiday Honeycrisp
We developed the Brown Apple Box in 2025, which can be found in the stores listed above. The idea began as a unique holiday gift and was originally offered as Holiday Honeycrisp.
We continue to offer custom-packed apple boxes for companies. Packaging can be customized with your company information, making these boxes a thoughtful – Local & Canadian gift for employees, staff, holidays, or special events.
