Description

Hoyt Orchards Ltd.  is owned and operated since 2017 by Mike O’Blenis of Prince William, NB. The orchard sits on the slopes of the Beautiful St. John River Valley and has been in operation for more than 70 years.

The farm is located 3 miles west of Kings Landing on Rte. 102. The farm has grown from 10 acres in 2016 to now 50 acres of apples and pears.  Apple production includes Honey Crisp, Ambrosia, Ginger Gold, Sunrise, Paula Red, Lobo, Cortland, McIntosh, and older varieties such as Dudley, Wolf River and Brunswick.  Our Pears include Flemmish Beauty, Clappe, and Bartlett varieties.

Our mission is to grow the highest quality and best tasting apples and pears in New Brunswick.

Retail:

From the 3^rd week of August when the first Paula Reds are picked until the end of November, we can be found at the Boyce Farmers Market in Fredericton every Saturday morning from 7 am to 1 pm where we have all our varieties that are in season.

Cidery:

After more than 50 years, Hoyt Orchards own fresh apple cider has returned.  A new modern cider press line is being installed summer of 2025 ready for the fall harvest.
