Charlotte’s Family Orchard is located in the Historic Village of Gagetown and been operating and producing quality fruit for the past 40 years. We U-pick and offer for sale, Apples, Pears, Plums, Local Fresh vegetables and other agricultural products that are in season at our Farm Market. Our Market building is very old and was once a Blacksmith’s Shop.

Our goal is to grow and offer to you our valued customers the highest quality fruit, vegetables and other Agricultural products. To produce products that are nutritious, healthy and grown in an Environmentally responsible manner and to make your visit enjoyable for you, family and friends.

Awards:

We are members of the NB Apple Growers. Charlotte’s Family Orchard has completed an Environmental Farm Plan and practices Integrated Pest Management (IPM). For several years we have been the winners of the Henry and Alberta Estabrooks Award, for the most Apple exhibits at the Queens County Fair. We have won numerous red ribbons for first place for fruit and presentation at the Queens County Fair. For years we have been the winners in the Giant Pumpkin Contest at the Fair, establishing new weight records. We have received many certificates from organizations for the quality of our fruit and service to our customers. For a number of years letters have been received from schools thanking us for their visits which we try to make educational.

Our Products:

Honeycrisp, Macintosh, Cortland, Ambrosia, Crimson Crisp & Evangeline, Paula Red, Jersey Mac, Gala, Gingergold, Empire, Dudley, Alexander, Wolf River, Yellow Transparent, Red Delicious, Melba, Jonagold, Golden Russett and many other Apple varieties. Several varieties of Pears and Plums. Farm fresh local vegetables, Corn, Garlic, Squash, Pumpkins, Potatoes and other locally grown vegetables. A wide variety of Jams, Jellies, Pickles and other preserves. Sweet and sparkling ciders. We sell homemade apple pies prepared by the Jemseg Lions Club.

Harvest Calendar:

Our Farm Gate Market is open daily 9am to 7pm from the last week of August to the first week of November. Our Apple U-Pick is open from 15 August to 25 October, depending on weather and crop.
